A perfect Absa Cape Epic final for the Kross-Spur Racing Team.

It was a perfect Absa Cape Epic final for the Kross-Spur Racing Team. Sergio Mantecón and Ondřej Cink won the last stage. Maja Włoszczowska and Ariane Lüthi took the third position and secured their overall classification podium.

The seventh stage was the last chance for our Men’s duo to win. From the beginning of the day Mantecón and Cink rode with the PYGA Euro Steel riders: Philip Buys and Matthys Beukes, after 70 kilometers, took the stage win after the sprint finish. Włoszczowska and Lüthi finished as 3rd on Sunday and kept their 3rd position in the general classification. 
- It was a very successful race for us – Kornel Osicki, Kross-Spur Team Manager assumed. – We won one stage and achieved the 3rd position in the general classification. Words of praise especially goes to Maja Włoszczowska, who were Fighting not only with rivals, but also infection – he added.
