LA VUELTA 2020: ROGLIC GONE FOR THE DOUBLE!

The 2020 Vuelta a España has just ended with a complete triumph for FSA and Vision brands. This edition featured 6 teams equipped with FSA & VISION parts, each one protagonist on more than one occasion in the Spanish race.

JUMBO-VISMA, ROGLIC GONE FOR THE DOUBLE

Jumbo-Visma leader and 2019 La Vuelta former winner Primoz Roglic achieved his second final triumph in a row. The Slovenian champion already achieved 4 wins, 3 hilly stages and the individual time trial, winning the “malla roja” that distinguishes the leader of the race.
Roglic is racing with the best seller Metron 5D integrated handlebar. The 10 ° angle forward ensures a more natural position of the wrists and a wider position of the elbows, which facilitates breathing and thanks to this feature, Metron 5D is also chosen by climbers, who benefit from its comfort and ergonomics.

HUGH CARTHY, THE KING OF ANGLIRU

The young British climber of EF Pro Cycling Hugh Carthy achieved a valuable third position in the final overall. Riding with Metron SL Disc wheels and K-Force Light cockpit, he won the most prestigious stage on the Angliru, one of the most iconic and hardest climb of Europe.
Another EF Pro Cycling rider has been protagonist at La Vuelta, the Canadian climber Michael Woods, who won the 7th stage at the end of a long breakaway, achieving another 2nd stage position a few days after, and Magnus Cort Nielsen triumphs at the sprint in the 16th stage.

GUILLAUME MARTIN, THE BEST CLIMBER OF THE EDITION

Team Cofidis rider Guillaume Martin won the KOM overall with a slight advantage over rivals. Riding with K-Force Light cockpit and De Rosa bike, the French rider is going to achieve one of the most important results of his young career.
