METRON 55 SL DISC CLINCHER TLR, IDEAL TO FACE PARIS-ROUBAIX COBBLES

The Metron 55 SL Disc clincher/tubeless ready is Vision’s Aero carbon rim wheelset chosen by EF Education-Nippo riders to face the legendary Paris-Roubaix’s cobbles this Sunday. 
According with Vision engineers studies, the tubeless-ready wheels are perfect for flat terrains or cobbles, thanks to their greater smoothness. In addition to this, one of the main advantages of running tubeless tires and wheels is that you can continue riding even if you get small punctures in your tire: a key-factor for a race like Paris-Roubaix where punctures are always lurking.
Vision has also studied over the last months with team EF Education-Nippo a special elastic tape for Vision tubeless-ready wheels, made and designed in Italy, to ensure optimal compatibility between rim and tire, facilitating the snap-on between them. Thanks to this, less liquid is used inside the tubeless than a normal tape, allowing a save on final weight of the wheel and better maintenance times.
