The TDF journey is about to begin.

Here WE are! The journey to Tour de France, the second Grand Tour of the year is about to begin. The curtain will raise on the 106th Tour de France this Saturday in Bruxelles, where a 21-stage drama will commence.


FSA and VISION will support 5 teams, each one will great ambitions at the start of “Grande Boucle”.

ASTANA PRO TEAM

Astana is one of the best teams to fight for the final win. The leader is Jakob Fuglsang, who is going through his best season ever. The 34-year-old dane rider won the Dauphiné, which is the most important pre-Tour waymark. Out of the seven editions from 2012 until 2018, the Dauphiné winner won La Grande Boucle of that year on five occasions. He also won Liege-Bastogne-Liege and the Ruta del Sol, while securing podium spots at Tirreno-Adriatico, Strade Bianche, La Fléche Wallonne, and the Amstel Gold Race.

BAHRAIN-MERIDA

The leader of the Asian team will be obviously Vincenzo Nibali.  After the second position at the Giro d'Italia, the "Shark" is going to start his eighth “Grand Boucle”, one years after his serious injury at Alpe d'Huez. In the seven previous appearances he has reached two times the final podium, winning in 2014 edition.

JUMBO-VISMA

The leader of the selection will be the dutch climber Steven Kruijswijk, who will try to conquer the yellow jersey on the second day at TTT, helped by a great team. Given his 2019 credentials, the "Flying Dutchman" Dylan Groenewegen is the sprinter to beat. He won ten races this year!  Groenewegen won two fast finisher showdowns in last year’s Tour de France with his Metron 5D Integrated handlebar.

EF EDUCATION FIRST PRO CYCLING

Three leaders at the beginning for EF: Rigoberto Uran, Michael Woods and Tejay van Garderen. The road will decide who will be the only one leader. Great focus on Simon Clarke's race too: the Australian experienced rider will update the fans on FSA channels stage by stage thanks to his diary "The TOURist".

ARKEA-SAMSIC

The French will start its home race with two leaders: the new French National champion Warren Barguil for the hilly stages, and the experienced sprinter Andre Greipel for the sprints. The German has won 11 stages at the Tour de France in his career, and now is ready to unleash his great power with his FSA PowerBox Crankset.
