Andrea Tiberi, this is History

"I wanted to win! I promised it to myself and to my Santa!". With these words the Santa Cruz Fsa Pro Team captain Andrea Tiberi unleashes himself after having crossed the finish line of Salamina Epic # 3 raising his Blur CC to the sky.

In the XCO (cross country Olympic) class C1 race, which ended the long race-trip of the Santa Cruz Fsa Pro Team in Greece, the decisive seal was by #IronTibi. It was the most anticipated race. It is the Olympic specialty par excellence and was a Santa Cruz Bicycle to climb to the highest step for this first, historic, podium in the top male category in one of the international races of the season.

"It's a great emotion - Andrea continues - these days in Greece I felt the condition grow steadily, day after day, I got more and more familiar with my bike. In the last lap before the finish line a nail decided to test the quality of my Reserve wheels. Result!? ... that nail, and believe me it was really big, understood that there is nothing to do against the quality of Santa's materials! Now I have the proof also! I'm fine, the Blur is amazing, everything is perfect and now we are ready to face this new season without fear"
An exciting day started once again with our Greta Seiwald who in the women's race managed to get on the podium collecting yet another, important, silver: "Another second place, and still a lot of satisfaction ... I can not wait to go back to Italy and sarting to race against the strongest rivals. But tonight we take some space for ourselves...so space to toast and celebrations before redoing our bags and going back home. "
Tomorrow the team will be on the way back and from Friday 22 February will reach the headquarters of Santa Cruz Italy where Gioele Bertolini join the crew also. On Sunday 23rd the team will be at the start of the Verona MTB International, the two days included in the calendar of the new Santa Cruz Series circuit which will officially launch the national season.
