Lachlan Morton finishes a captivating GBDuro

The 27 years-old Lachlan Morton, Australian rider of FSA sponsored team EF Education First Pro Cycling, finally reached John O’Groats, Scotland late Friday night, seven days after he set off from Land’s End, England. He spent 104 hours atop his Cannondale Topstone Carbon equipped with FSA components and gravel wheels covering 1954km during his adventure.

Upon reaching the finish, Lachy said simply: “This is the most incredible journey of my life.”

GBDURO is called a solo, self-supported effort. The race organizers billed the it as a scrappy, rolling picnic.
