Greta, you are Great!

Finally the highest step of the podium! At the third stage of Salamina Epic #2 Greta Seiwald of Santa Cruz-FSA team and her Blur CC was faster than the rivals. A beautiful and well deserved victory for Greta who made all good in this long stage race in Greece!

"I didn't think I could be so competitive the day after a marathon race - Greta said - but day by day I feel better and better, the feeling with my Blur CC is constantly increasing, even if it has to be admitted that here in Greece has not yet found 'bread for his teeth'! "

After the second place in the prologue on Tuesday and the third place in the marathon race yesterday, today Greta found a beautiful win, writing her name next to the first historic victory of Santa Cruz Bicycles in one of the cross country disciplines: "Well. ..WOW !!! - concludes Greta - said so it seems to be a great responsibility, but the truth is that I feel very good, and is it also thanks to these exceptional bicycles. Even if I'm struggling, even if the track does not the 'coolest', I have a great time riding my Blur CC, ever! Always and in any case! On the other hand: you said Santa and you said Mountain Bike! "

An absolutely positive day also for the captain Andrea Tiberi who, after a difficult start of the race, managed to defend himself entering into the 'top five' of the day conquering the 5th position. Good 19th place instead for the young Zaccaria Toccoli.

Tomorrow is the time of the last stage of Salamina Epic #2. It will be the cross country Point-To-Point (XCP) of 32 km to decree the final positions for the overall.
