BEST OF 2020

A particular year is going to end, and despite everything, we have achieved many important results and satisfactions beside our sponsored teams. We have chosen 5 fantastic moments, each one with an unforgettable picture. Images presented like they were shot with a polaroid camera.

#1 VAN AERT KING OF STRADE BIANCHE

Wout Van Aert returned to action in fine style at Strade Bianche, claiming his first win of the season with a late solo attack.
The Team Jumbo-Visma rider worked his way into an elite five-man group as the race splintered on the torturous gravel roads and then jumped clear in the last 12km with a phenomenal solo effort to leave his rivals in the dust.

#2 MILANO-SANREMO: VAN AERT STRIKES AGAIN

Wout Van Aert’s fine form continued at Milano-Sanremo as he outsprinted Julian Alaphilippe to win his first Monument by the tightest of margins. The Team Jumbo-Visma rider has been on top form since racing resumed and backed up his Strade Bianche success with another consummate performance.
Van Aert hauled the attacking Alaphilippe back on the descent of the Poggio and the duo worked well together before going toe-to-toe on the Via Roma. Wout Van Aert delivers our Team Jumbo-Visma partner its first monumental victory in Milano-Sanremo, triumphing with Metron 6D Integrated handlebar. The Belgian rider, who was labelled a top favourite by many, has had a successful Italian week, after his win at Strade Bianche and the third place in Milano-Torino.

#3 MARTINEZ KING OF DAUPHINÉ

Dani Martínez of EF Pro Cycling won the Critérium du Dauphiné 2020, overhauling Thibaut Pinot’s pre-stage GC lead, the Frenchman finishing runner-up. Martínez finished second on the last exciting climbing stage, after the withdrawal of Primoz Roglic, the former leader of the race.

#4 ROGLIC WINS THE ”LBL” BY INCHES

Primoz Roglic has won Liège-Bastogne-Liège. The Slovenian from Team Jumbo-Visma won his first monument after a memorable sprint. Julian Alaphilippe seemed to be heading for the victory but put his hands in the air too early, resulting in Roglic pushing his wheel over the line earlier. The new world champion was also downgraded afterwards due to an irregular sprint.
It is the second victory in a monument for Team Jumbo-Visma this year. Wout van Aert triumphed in Milano-Sanremo at the beginning of August.

#5 LA VUELTA 2020: ROGLIC GONE FOR THE DOUBLE!

Jumbo-Visma leader and 2019 La Vuelta former winner Primoz Roglic achieved his second final triumph in a row. The Slovenian champion already achieved 4 wins, 3 hilly stages and the individual time trial, winning the “malla roja” that distinguishes the leader of the race.
Roglic is racing with the best seller Metron 5D integrated handlebar. The 10 ° angle forward ensures a more natural position of the wrists and a wider position of the elbows, which facilitates breathing and thanks to this feature, Metron 5D is also chosen by climbers, who benefit from its comfort and ergonomics.

  • Primoz Roglic wins La Vuelta
  • Dani Martinez wins Criterium du Dauphiné
  • Wout Van Aert wins Milano-Sanremo
