Another top three result for the Kross-Spur racing team at Cape Epic

Another top three result for the Kross-Spur Racing Team! Maja Włoszczowska and Ariane Lüthi took 3rd position on the 4th Cape Epic stage and kept 3rd position in  overall classification. Sergio Mantecon and Ondřej Cink finished on the 6th position. 


After three marathon stages, organisers prepared a little bit easier, but most of all – shorter stage for riders. 43-kilometers time trial with the start and the finish point  in the Oak Valley was announced as A fast, but also technicaly difficult stage. Maja Włoszczowska and Ariane Lüthi took 3rd position, right behind Anna van der Breggen/Annika Langvad (Investec-Songo-Specialized) and Candice Lill/Adelheid Morath (Summit Fin). In the general classification our Ladies team is still on the 3rd. position. 


- Today I was OK. This trails suited me very well. I’m happy about our performance – said Maja Włoszczowska, who also emphasize, that they still have three stages to go, and averything might happen.
It was a very solid day for Sergio Mantecon and Ondřej Cink. They finished on the 6th position after very intensive day in the saddle, but they were still unsatisfied. 
On Friday riders will fight in the one of the hardest stages of the 2019 edition. 100 kilometers from the Oak Valley to the Stellenbosch , may play the key role in the battle in the general classification.
