Lachlan Morton Everesting Title!

EF Pro Cycling Team member and FSA/Vision sponsored rider Lachlan Morton has just smashed the Everesting Ride record completing the 8,848m (29,029 feet) height of Mount Everest in a time of 7 hours, 32 minutes, and 54 second, besting American Keegan Swenson by 7 minutes and 49 seconds.

Riding up Rist Canyon, near Fort Collins, CO, USA a total of 42 laps, with each lap taking approximately 9 minutes and dropping down at over 56 mph each descent. Lachlan chose his FSA and Vision equipped Cannondale SuperSix Disc, spinning a pair of Metron 40 disc brake wheels, giving him the perfect blend of lightweight spin up and aerodynamics, along with a pair Vision Metron 6D handlebars.

Of course, records are made to broken, but the Australian climber has shown in the past that he is quick going uphill.
