TDF 2021: LET THE RIDE BEGIN

This Saturday, the 108th Tour de France sets off from Brest, Brittany, and the race is scheduled to finish on Sunday 18 July in Paris. The route includes a double ascent of Mount Ventoux and a lot of Pyrenean climbing in the final week, and FSA and Vision are ready for the rumble, supporting the tune of 6 teams at the starting line: EF Education-Nippo, Team Bahrain-Victorious, Team Jumbo-Visma, Team BikeExchange, Team Cofidis and the French Pro-Continental B&B Hotels p/b KTM
There will be 3418km of passion partnering with the champions who have chosen FSA & Vision products!

 

EF EDUCATION-NIPPO:
Colombian and former runner-up Rigoberto Uràn will lead the EF Education-Nippo team into the race. The American team will ride with both FSA & Vision parts, featuring in particular top-of-the-line Metron wheels, a fundamental weapon that will help them to reach the maximum performance during the race.

TEAM BAHRAIN-VICTORIOUS:
Australian Jack Haig leads the TBV’s line-up, with GC ambitions following his solid performance at the Dauphine. Along with GC ambitions, the team is positioned to race proactively with potential stage winners, such as 2019 stage winner Dylan Teuns and the new Italian national champion Sonny Colbrelli

TEAM JUMBO-VISMA:
Team Jumbo-Visma has general classification ambitions at the TDF with one the best riders of the race: Primož Roglič, who came agonisingly close to victory in 2020 before being beaten in the final time trial. Wout van Aert, who won two stages last year, will be another rider to watch. The team will ride on Cervélo bikes, and the riders will choose FSA/Vision cockpits according with the terrains they will face, especially on hilly stages.

TEAM BIKEEXCHANGE:
Former Tour de France stage winners Michael Matthews and Simon Yates, along with two-time Grand Tour podium finisher Esteban Chaves will lead the outfit’s offensive charge of Team BikeExchange. The team will ride on Bianchi bikes, being able to count on his Vision Metron wheel’s super aero performances during two of the most important stages: the initial and final TT stages.

TEAM COFIDIS:
The French Team Cofidis will be leaded by the French climber Guillaume Martin, who will be the man of reference for the general classification, while for the flat stages Christophe Laporte will be the designated sprinter.

B&B HOTELS P/B KTM:
B&B Hotels is preparing for the Tour de France 2021 to look for stage victories. The most experienced rider will be Pierre Rolland, at his 12th participation at Grande Boucle. For the sprints, the leader will undoubtedly be Bryan Coquard, who in his career has placed himself on the podium of the day on the Tour several times but is still looking for the big shot.
