FULL SPEED AHEAD AND TEAM MALOJA PUSHBIKERS MTB: THE BEGINNING OF A NEW ERA

Maloja Pushbikers MTB is ready to dive into the 2020 racing season featuring much interesting news, concerning in particular the team uniform and some components.

«For 10 years FSA has been a reliable partner of our team - said Matthias Beck, Maloja Pushbikers MTB Manager. - Together we achieved many national and international titles on the MTB. World- and European champion titles, World Cup podiums and a U23 overall World Cup win are just some of the highlights of our partnership. Together, innovative products have been developed and tested on the most difficult and demanding race tracks of the world. We are very happy that FSA in 2020 continues the partnership with supporting our team, which now is established as Maloja Pushbikers MTB. Innovation and style, design and function, FSA and Maloja, these are keywords that fit together well for a successful future together.»
Maloja Pushbikers MTB includes six athletes. Here are the names: Fabian Giger and Linda Indergand, (eighth at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics and 2 times former XCE World Champion) from Swiss, Felicitas Geiger and Martin Gluth from Germany, Karla Stepanova and Jan Vastl from Czech Republic.

THE SPECIAL TEAM UNIFORM BY MALOJA:

Maloja presents a special kit customized for the team and available for all temperatures and weather conditions, with lightweight Aerodynamic Jersey and sleeveless Jersey and high-quality accessories. Here what the riders think about the new kit:

Martin Gluth: «The new Maloja Jersey’s are amazing! Both the jersey and the bib short fit perfectly and are really comfortable to wear. Even at 200km rides the padding of the bib short is very comfortable. Especially on fast training sessions on the road I enjoy the aerodynamic jersey! The new vest has a zipper insert at the back to easily reach the pockets of the jersey worn underneath, perfect!»
Felicitas Geiger: «I really love the Aero Suit. It clings to the body like a second skin and therefore is incredibly comfortable to move in. Also the use of several different materials, depending on the body part, just makes so much sense. You feel faster just wearing it.»

THE BRANDNEW FSA KFX RANGE:
«With Maloja Pushbikers MTB we are going a new way – said Davide Riva, FSA Europe OEM Sales Manager. – Our off-road commitment here at FSA is constantly growing, as is our desire to open up the product range to the highest levels of professional use. The suggestions of professional athletes who ride the most important international races will be very precious in order to increase the visibility and the awareness of our products».

In 2020 racing season Maloja-Pushbikers MTB riders will ride on Superior bikes equipped with FULL SPEED AHEAD top-of-the-line KFX range. The pinnacle of the new range is the KFX 1X Modular Crankset, a super lightweight aluminum modular MTB crank pushes component innovation to the next level. The team riders have chosen also the KFX flat carbon handlebar, an ultralight choice for XC and marathon racers, the KFX stem with the + or -12° option to suit athletes riding style, and the KFX SB0 carbon seatpost with FSA alloy Minimal Top Clamp holding the saddle securely. The K-Force Light MTB chain complete the team package.

«The build quality is just exceptional! The carbon feels super firm, especially while sprinting, and the steering is super precise.» said Martin Gluth on the KFX handlebar.
«It is impressive how FSA managed to develop a super light yet unbelievably stiff aluminium crankset. Together with the smooth running bottom bracket pedalling feels very close to flying. It just shows that aluminium components can easily keep up with their carbon counterparts. » said Felicitas Geiger on the KFX crank.
